The Computer Science Department of UiTM Kedah Branch is honored to organize the 4th International Conference on Recent Advances and Innovations in Engineering (ICRAIE 2019), in collaboration with Poornima College of Engineering, Rajasthan Jaipur, India. Hence, ICRAIE 2019 welcomes participants / authors from all organizations and professionals societies from various countries around the world to participate / contribute complete, original and unpublished research papers and industrial applications that describe recent advances and significant innovations in computing and engineering.

Dr. Rajkumar Buyya is a Redmond Barry Distinguished Professor and Director of the Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems (CLOUDS) Laboratory at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is also serving as the founding CEO of Manjrasoft Pty Ltd., a spin-off company of the university, commercialising its innovations in Cloud Computing. He served as a Future Fellow of the Australian Research Council during 2012 until 2016. He received B.E and M.E in Computer Science and Engineering from Mysore and Bangladesh Universities in 1992 and 1995 respectively; and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia in 2002. He received "Research Excellence Awards" from the University of Melbourne for productive and quality research in computer science and software engineering in 2005 and 2008. He is one of the highly cited authors in computer science and software engineering worldwide (h-index=123, g-index=271, and 79,000+ citations). He served as the founding Editor-in-Chief (EiC) of IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing (TCC), Dr. Buyya is recognized as a "Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher" for three consecutive years since 2016, a Fellow of IEEE and Scopus Researcher of the Year 2017 with Excellence in Innovative Research Award by Elsevier for his outstanding contributions to cloud computing.

Assc. Prof. Dr. Maxim Mozgovoy

University of Aizu, Japan

Maxim Mozgovoy is an associate professor at the University of Aizu, Japan. He received his PhD degree in Applied Mathematics from St. Petersburg State University, and his PhD in Computer Science from University of Joensuu. His main research interests are focused on natural language processing and artificial intelligence for computer games. His current primary goal is to apply machine learning technologies to the task of practical game AI creation. Maxim has a solid academic record of over 50 published articles and industrial-level software development experience.

Dr. Mahesh Bundele has completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Power in 1986 from Nagpur University and immediately joined as Lecturer in Electronics at Babasaheb Naik College of Engineering Pusad, Yavatmal District. He did his Master’s in Electrical Power System from Amravati University in 1990 and was appointed at the post of Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering in the same Institute in the year 1993. He was promoted to the post of Professor and Head of Computer Science Engineering & Information Technology in August 2006. He did his doctoral degree from Amaravati University in Computer Science & Engineering with a topic “Design and Implementation of Wearable Computing System for the Prevention of Road Accidents”. While working he has handled various portfolios related to design and development of curriculum, Design and execution of laboratories, electrical installations including substation design & erection, street lights etc. He has worked on various Wi-Fi/ Wi-Max based system designs and implementations for college and Pusad city villages. He has guided many research projects at UG and PG level on various applications in Electrical, Electronics & Computer Sciences. He was also appointed as Principal of Babsaheb Naik College of Engineering, Pusad from March 2011. He has worked in various capacities such as, member Board of Studies, Chief-Valuation officer etc at University level. He has also worked for getting ISI to Krishak Motor pumps at Amravati. He has visited US, UK, China and Malaysia for research presentations. He has delivered many invited talks and has been on advisory committees of IEEE International Conferences. He has published more than 50 research papers in National and International conferences and journals. He is senior member of IEEE, Life member of ISTE and IEI and the member of ACM. He has worked as Secretary in IEEE Rajasthan Subsection and also as Membership Development Chair in IEEE Rajasthan Subsection. He is member standing committee member for Technical and Professional activities at IEEE Delhi Section and also a member of execom IEEE Delhi Section. He is Vice Chair of ACM Jaipur Professional Chapter. He is having total 33 years of teaching including 7 years of research. While working at Poornima since 2011, he has developed unique R&D processes and curriculum and executed at Master and Doctoral level. He has worked majorly on human health issues. He is working research projects on Indian Rail Crack Detection and Monitoring and Micro-grid design and implementation in un-electrified villages of Rajasthan.  His areas of research interest are Wearable & Pervasive Computing, Software Defined Networking, Wireless Sensor Networks, Smart Grids, Micro Grids etc. He has organized and chaired many international conferences and workshops.

Authors' Guidelines

AUTHORS’ GUIDELINES

Full Paper Submission Guidelines

  • Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers of 4 to maximum 6 pages (A4 size), however, if the number of pages exceeds author will have to pay USD50 per page while paying registration fees.

  • Each paper must be original and unpublished work, has not been submitted for other publication elsewhere.

  • Authors should ensure that the similarity in the paper as per Turnitin software is not more than 25%. The papers submitted with similarity above 25% shall not be processed for review.

  • All papers submitted must follow the IEEE Conference format which can be downloaded from the following link IEEE Paper Template in Word (A4). Click Here.

  • The authors must not indicate their names, affiliations, and acknowledgments in the body of the submitted paper. The authors only give their personal information during the online EasyChair Submission Link Systems (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icraie2019).

  • A peer-review process will be used to evaluate all papers submitted for consideration.

  • If a paper is accepted, at least one author needs to register and present the paper.

 

For Authors Action

  • Upon paper acceptance, authors may start preparing for the conference. Below is a simple checklist and guideline for reference:​

 

Revise your paper

  • Take into account the suggestions and corrections highlighted by the reviewers and prepare a compliance report table as Sr. No.- Correction Advised --- Correction Incorporated / Justification.

  • The length of the final paper should be no more than 6 pages in A4 size, including figures, tables and references.

  • Please use the given template either in Word or in Latex and do not use any other template. Failure to do so may result in your paper exclusion from IEEE Xplore.

Register and pay the conference fee

  • All registrations will be done through specific track email ids given on Registration page.

  • The payment (local and international presenters) has to be made to the conference account prior to registration.

  • The registration fees include conference kit, tea and lunch only. All other expenses will have to be borne by the participant.

  • For IEEE members, it would be necessary to submit IEEE membership ID.

  • For student author, would submit the scanned copy of your student identification card.

Arrange your travel and accommodation

  • Depending on your nationality, you may be required to apply for a visa in advance to enter Malaysia.

  • The accommodation details are provided on the website which could be used for direct booking of your accommodation through the hotel’s official website or through the many hotel reservation sites such as Booking.com, Agoda, etc.

International Conference on Recent Advances and Innovations in Engineering (ICRAIE) International Conference on Recent Advances in Informatics Engineering aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Recent Advances in Informatics Engineering.
